School Admissions
Our school caters for children from Nursery up to Year 2 (ages 3 to 7 years old). Children can join our Reception Class from the September following their 4th birthday. Children can join our Nursery from the term following their 3rd birthday, however places are limited so please contact school for the latest information about available places. We have a dedicated page which provides information about our Nursery.
Marsden Infant and Nusery School follows the Kirklees Admissions Policy. Visiting the Kirklees website will provide all of the information you need about the Kirklees Admissions Policy and how to apply for a school place for your child. This page also provides informsion on the Appeals Process should it be required.
Applying for a Reception Place for September 2024
Applications for September 2024 can be made between 1 September 2023 and 15 January 2024. Please use the link below to register your child for a school place. Parenst will be notified of their offer on 16th April 2024.

Prospective parents/carers requesting mid-year admission into Marsden Infant and Nursery School should contact school. We can support you with submitting the In-Year Admission Form and make arrangements for you and your child to take a look around our school and meet key members of staff prior to admission.
